How to pitch a correction, a source or a guide to this site — and what happens after you send it.

What this site accepts

AaronJones.co covers one subject: Aaron Jones, the Minnesota Vikings running back — his stats, contract, availability and career. Useful contributions fit inside that scope and the same rules the rest of the site follows:

  • Explanatory guides that help a reader understand a stat, a contract term or how injury reporting works (in the style of the existing guides).
  • A correction or a better primary source for something already published here.
  • A dated, sourced update once you can point to the primary source it comes from.

Out of scope, for the same reasons explained on the about page: his family, relationships or personal life; unrelated people who share his name; betting tips or predictions; anything that can't be traced to a named, checkable source.

Quality standards

  • Every factual claim needs a source you can link to. No source, no publication.
  • Write it yourself, in your own words. AI-generated or spun text is rejected on sight, as is anything lifted from another site.
  • State opinions and interpretation as such — don't present a guess as a confirmed fact.
  • No invented statistics, quotes, credentials or "sources say" claims that can't be checked.

Editorial review

This is a single-editor site (see the disclaimer): there is no editorial board, and review means one person checking your sourcing and fact-by-fact accuracy before anything goes live. Expect edits for length, tone and house style to match the rest of the site, and expect a plain "not right now" more often than an acceptance — publication is never guaranteed, however good the pitch, and a submission with no reply after a few weeks should be taken as a pass rather than chased repeatedly.

What gets a submission rejected

Spam, unsolicited link-building pitches, content copied or lightly reworded from elsewhere, and anything with a misleading or unverifiable claim are declined without individual feedback. This also isn't a place to buy a placement: no payment, guaranteed publication, guaranteed backlink or "dofollow" link is offered or promised in exchange for a submission, and any pitch that leads with that offer is declined.

Commercial or sponsored submissions

If you're submitting on behalf of a brand, a team, an agent or anyone with a financial interest in the subject, say so upfront in your pitch. Anything published under a commercial or sponsored arrangement would be clearly labelled as such on the page — nothing here is ever published as ordinary independent content when it isn't.

How to submit

Don't send a finished draft cold. Use the contact form with "Write for us submission" as the subject, and include:

  1. The specific topic and angle.
  2. A short outline of what it would cover.
  3. The primary sources you'd cite.
  4. Whether you have any commercial or financial interest in the subject.

That's enough for a first read — the full piece only gets written once the pitch itself makes sense for the site.
