Carries and rushing yards
A carry is one rushing attempt. Rushing yards are the net yards gained on those attempts, so losses count against the total. Volume matters: a big yardage total on few carries and a modest total on many carries tell different stories.
Yards per carry
Divide rushing yards by carries. For 2024 that is 1,138 ÷ 255 = 4.46 yards per carry. For 2025 it is 548 ÷ 132 = 4.15. The rate is useful, but a handful of long runs can move it, so read it next to the carry count.
Rushing touchdowns versus receiving touchdowns
This site lists them separately because they come from different roles. In 2024 Aaron Jones scored 5 rushing touchdowns and 2 receiving touchdowns, 7 in total. A “total touchdowns” figure elsewhere may or may not include receiving scores; check before comparing.
Receptions and scrimmage yards
Receptions show how often he is used in the passing game. Scrimmage yards add rushing and receiving yards together and are the fairest single measure of a running back’s production. 2024: 1,138 + 408 = 1,546 scrimmage yards.

Every figure here is a finished regular-season total. Playoff games are not included, and nothing from the current season is shown until a verified feed is connected. Treat any page that mixes those scopes without saying so with caution.
